Bathroom video!

No, not one of those! Here is your first look at Tyson & Sarah's remodeled master bathroom. (Tyson had to help me with getting the video to play here)

Beth and the Boys

Beth brought "the boys" over this morning on her way to work. Tanner and Bruiser are lots of fun. So like any good grandma, I took the kids for a walk around our little lake and to the park for playtime. As we were walking across the dam we saw two herons that were standing at the edge of the water. Of course we scared them away, but they were beautiful. Then we came back and went for a swim.

Bruiser (the black one) dashes back and forth and tries to bite the water, and Tanner (the tan one) just stands quietly in the shallow end and refuses to play. Oh well. I could tell they were tired so I gave them a doggie treat and put them in the laundry room for a nap. I take good care of my granddogs!

Hey Sarah - look in the background of the last picture and you'll see the flowers that we picked out for Rea's shower last weekend. I like the way they turned out, and she had a good shower too.

Sarah Came To Tyler!

Sarah came to Tyler last Tuesday and went back to Carrollton this morning. Sixth grade orientation was this afternoon and she starts her teacher inservice next week, so I guess summer is officially over for her. We really enjoyed having her. We went out to eat, swam, cooked, drove for Meals on Wheels, and she even helped me with the three-year old class at church on Wednesday night. Our original plan was to make a wedding scrapbook for Beth, but we only managed to get organized. Oh well. That means another visit to Tyler soon I hope. We love you Sarah!

Happy Birthday to You

We celebrated Greg's 53rd birthday July 12th and here are some pictures. We invited some couples from our church, plus Dad to dinner at Mario's - an Italian restaurant in Tyler. Everyone enjoyed the food and the music. The live entertainment was provided by Danny Burgess, also a member at Glenwood. He's very talented and knows the words and music to every song ever written I think. He made a big deal about Greg being there and the whole restaurant sang the birthday song when the waiters brought the cake out. The cake was especially good - I didn't make it!
