Winter Wonderland - Tyler Style

It snowed in Tyler last Friday - for about 5 minutes in the morning and then 5 more minutes in the afternoon. In-between it was rain/sleet/rain. I think you can see the awesome accumulation of the white stuff on the patio chairs - if you look closely. I was doing some "power shopping" with Beth in Target at the time and made her walk to the front of the store with me so I could see it. Since I'm from South Texas, I didn't really experience snow until Greg and I went skiing at Red River when I was 26. Anyway it's always a treat.

The Sons-in-law

I love and appreciate my sons-in-law! Last weekend Sarah and Tyson made a quick trip to Tyler. Always a good thing. We ate together and Matt cut up the brisket for me. A messy job. Yes, he is trying to feed Sarah a piece of fat, but that's beside the point. Tyson washed the dishes - oh what a wonderful world. Thank you Tyson. I am not a neat cook, so it's not as easy as it sounds.

Besides all that - they're just great young men. They are smart, funny, hard workers, faithful Christians. Oh yes, they're good husbands for my daughters!
